Raj Muhammad Afridi is a rising star in children’s literature, particularly in fostering a love for books in an area where a library once stood, resonating with the eloquence of his words. Not only has he built a library in a place where the sound of wisdom echoed, but his association with intellectual companions and his dedication to children’s etiquette has not only cultivated a love for books in that region but has also made Raj Muhammad Afridi a recognized name in Pakistan and worldwide, in the realm of children’s literature.

Raj Muhammad Afridi is not just an advocate for children’s etiquette; he is also a playwright and a storyteller. He initiated his literary journey with a drama titled “Mohimat e Arastu.” To date, he has authored seven books for children, including “Suraj Ki Sayr,” “Antique Car,” “Komplayn,” “Kirnayn,” “Dosti Karo To Apnon Sy,” and “Badam Sy Kishmish Tak.” According to Raj Muhammad Afridi, he has written around 70 articles for children.

Raj Sahab’s contributions extend beyond Pakistani newspapers to international publications in India, Nepal, Holland, and New Zealand. Although his passion for literature ignited during his matriculation, it flourished with a Master’s degree in Urdu literature. In college, Raj Sahab wrote stories for children, but it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that his connection with an Indian literary group bachpan ka rahbar’s figure Siraj Azeem sparked, leading him to channel his focus towards children’s literature. Raj Muhammad Afridi’s notable work has earned him recognition, including an award from the Hakeem Saeed Memorial on his book “Antique Car,” and he has received an accolade from akadmi adbiat.

Raj Muhammad Afridi not only writes but also serves as the managing editor of the children’s weekly page “Komplayn.” His efforts are shaping this page with remarkable success.
